The Pro account adds scheduled optimization scans, auto updates of virus definitions, additional theft-prevention tools, a secure vault, and protection from phishing sites. Most of its core features are available for free, but a Pro account (which is what I tested) is available for $9.99 per year. IObit AMC Security-Protector, Booster is available as a free download from the Google Play store. Worse, text reads as if it has been poorly translated into English, to the point that it hampered my ability to use the app in testing. The app isn't laid out logically, and it offers very little explanation of its features.

Unfortunately, the beauty is only skin deep. More security companies should look to its design for inspiration. IObit, however, looks very handsome on my Nexus 6. Interface and Pricing Security apps are not known for their quality design and pleasing interfaces. AMC, if you are wondering, stands for Advanced Mobile Care, a name the app fails to live up to. But my testing found that it fell short on many accounts. With AMC Security-Protector, Booster, IObit promises it will do all of those things, and much more. It also helps you secure and recover lost or stolen devices and keeps you safe while you browse the wilds of the Internet.
